Privacy in plain English

No accounts, no personal details

You can play every BuzzTrail game without signing up. We never ask for your name, email address or phone number. The only names BuzzTrail ever sees are the nicknames players type into a tournament — and those are used purely to show the scoreboard and are never sent to us.

Your scores stay on your device

Personal bests and session results are saved in your browser's own local storage on the device you are playing on. They are not uploaded, not shared, and not visible to anyone else. Clearing your browser data, or using a private window, removes them.

Tournament results are shared only by you

When you tap “Share results”, we prepare a short summary of the scores and hand it to your device's normal share menu, or copy it to your clipboard. Nothing is posted anywhere unless you choose to send it.

Basic, anonymous statistics

We may collect anonymous, aggregated counts — for example how many rounds were played in a day — to understand which games are worth building on. These statistics contain no names, no contact details and nothing that could identify you.

Third parties

BuzzTrail loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests those font files from Google's servers. Once a game is open, it runs entirely in your browser and does not call out to any other service.

Changes and questions

If this policy ever changes, the updated date at the top of this page will change with it. If anything here is unclear, the About page explains how the games work.
